Detroit’s Esham comes full force with the horrorcore sound (AKA “acid rap”) he is known for on his latest album, “Sacrificial Lambz.” The rap equivalent of metal, Esham’s style is rough and rugged, mixing straight up hip-hop flows with disturbing ballads that often come through the airwaves like lyrical nightmares.
Anti-establishment and certainly anti-industry, Esham has created a creatively diverse effort with “Sacrificial Lambz,” highlighted by exceptional tracks like “Garbitch,” “Fuck U,” “Root of Evil,” and “Don’t Give Up.”
“Sacrificial Lambz” hits records stores on August 26, 2008.
